Benniksgaard Hotel

Benniksgaard was formerly an ordinary farm with dairy cows, pigs, arable farming. In 1979, Mads Friis together with his wife Ingeborg Friis took over the management of Benniksgaard, which they ran as a farm until 1997, when the changes really took off.
Benniksgaard Hotel started out with just 11 rooms in the old barn in the summer of 2000. Since then, all buildings have undergone a complete renovation. Today there are 55 rooms in the farmhouse, the old barn, the holiday apartments and the Bed & Breakfast. The old wagon gate and granary have been turned into a reception and restaurant. The granaries have now been transformed into conference and meeting rooms and a lounge. The hotel has its own large farm shop with a selection of Sønderjyske specialities, arts and crafts and other goodies.
